German Air Force (Air Transport Wing 62)

The C-160 is capable of a variety of roles. As a general transport, it can carry up to 16000kg of freight. As a troop carrier, it can carry 93 troops or 68 paratroops. For medical evacuation, it can carry 62 stretchers.

The French Air Force also uses the C-160 as an aerial refuelling aircraft, and as a communications relay aircraft.
